This is the beer that started it all. Named for iconic Black Butte, towering high above Central Oregon and seen for miles, this surprisingly balanced porter has notes of rich chocolate and coffee, a luscious creaminess and roasted finish. No wonder its America's favorite.

Chocolate, malty aroma with just a touch of creamy, coffee sweetness. Light bodied and surprisingly drinkable, it's our favorite beer to surprise people with when they ask for a "light beer."
